It’s not just the maritime history that sets Dartmouth apart – it’s also the home of Thomas Newcomen, the inventor of the Steam Engine. A working engine can be viewed at the Dartmouth Visitor Centre why not view the engine and then enjoy a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway to round off your industrial education.
